About TokensDesk
TokensDesk is the trading name of CANTERBURY SERVICES LIMITED, a company registered in the Federal Territory of Labuan, Malaysia.
The licence, and what it is not
CANTERBURY SERVICES LIMITED holds labuan money-broking licence no. MB/21/0076, granted by the Labuan Financial Services Authority under the Labuan Financial Services and Securities Act 2010. A Labuan money-broking licence authorises the broking of currencies and other financial instruments to non-residents, from the Federal Territory of Labuan, Malaysia. It is not an authorisation in your own country, and it does not put us under your local regulator — no broker offering these products to you cross-border is. Malaysian residents are not accepted, which is a condition of this class of licence rather than a preference of ours.
Check it rather than trust it
The licence number is quoted so that it can be looked up rather than believed. It resolves to this exact company on the regulator's own directory of licensed institutions, and the entity named there is the entity you contract with. A client who can verify that in ten seconds does not have to take a footer's word for it.
Who we do not serve
Accounts are not opened for US retail persons, nor for residents of any jurisdiction where we are not authorised to offer these products. The check runs at sign-up rather than after a deposit has arrived, and the form says so when you select your country.
